OpenLab Opennight NEXT OPENNIGHT(s) !!! OpenNight #9 Thursday 16th September 2010 7pm-10pm: the hackney rose,458 hackney road, e2 9eg (Suggested £2 donation) FB Event Page Go to main Openlab site & blog Podcast(FeedBurner) FB Group Page - (join us to get updates on FB..) ![]() We still have some openlab t-shirts available you can see the blog post for more details ... Open night is a night of performances where members of the open-source, open-culture community can try out their new open-licensed creations in front of a real, live, supportive, forgiving, audience, and meet up with like-minded members. Anyone is free to join in, as long as you are using something with an open content or software license (Creative Commons, GPL, BSD, etc) - just add your name on the list below or get in contact on the Openlab mailing list or send us a mail to rrmunro at gmail or evanraskob at gmail. There is a podcast if you want to hear some previous audio. Performances can be from 10-25min, they can be work in progress or finished pieces, or just anything you want to perform in front of an audience. We encourage participants to describe their work and their creative process. Please give an estimate of time. We can match audio and video people together as needed, so if you just do audio or video but not both then still feel free. Of course all the performances have to use at least some free/open-source software. Use of (what) closed source software should be stated. So for anyone out there who has been working on some stuff or if you have been doing workshops and want to put your new found skills to the test - then jump in click the edit button and put your name up .... You can add yourself below, or you can join the email discussion group at http://lists.pawfal.org/listinfo.cgi/openlab-pawfal.org then send mails to openlab@lists.pawfal.org Next OpenNight: OpenNight #9 Thursday 16th September 2010 7pm-10pm: the hackney rose,458 hackney road, e2 9eg (Suggested £2 donation, just to help out with their renovations) FB Event Page * PUT YOUR NAME HERE !!! * Rob Munro : PD + Something * Alexandre Quessy : Live Life with the Toonloop live animation software * pixelpusher : Light Painting with Crowds For Fun and NonProfit? * cambridgeBlueMan?
